Stephanie and Matt are a couple to immediately fall for. They are super nice and so in love – I got that fuzzy warm feeling right away. I got really excited when they booked my separate Engagement Session Package in addition to their wedding. This package is an extended shoot, up to two hours where we can go to several locations.
However, the days we had planned on got super hot and we definitely wanted to settle for later in the evening to escape the heat and also to get some great night shots. But the weather wasn’t on our side and we had to reschedule twice because of extensive heat or thunderstorms. And then it finally worked out and after some rain earlier in the day we went to our long anticipated session!
We started at Jetton Park at Lake Norman to get some really nice outdoors photos and then we headed over to Birkdale Village. It was close to dusk and it was beautiful there! There was some event going on and it was super busy but that didn’t hold us off of getting great images.
We definitely had to get a shot in front of Red Rocks Cafe – this was the place that Matt proposed to Stephanie!
I am very much looking forward to their wedding at VanLandingham Estate – it’s going to be a blast!
